Bob Bantz, age 73 of Auburn, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn. He was born August 15, 1935 in Howe, Nebraska. Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife Connie of Auburn; step-children Kim and husband Jay Theye of Auburn, Tye Bantz of Auburn, Johnny Curttright and fiancée Angie Bridgmon of Auburn; 3 step-granddaughters; one step-great-granddaughter; brothers Bill Bantz of Whittier, California, Lee Bantz of Whittier, California, Clinton and wife Glenny Bantz of Auburn; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 25, 10:30 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow in the Bedford Cemetery near Howe. Visitation is at the funeral home Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
