Dwight I. Rogers, age 56 of Auburn, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at his home in Auburn. He was born April 15, 1953 in Auburn, and was an Army Veteran.
Survivors include his partner of 20 years Cindy Tjernagel of Auburn; father Don Rogers of Auburn; sister and brother-in-law Yancy and Al Armstrong of Auburn; 2 nephews and 3 great-nephews; Cindy?s family including parents William and Helen Tjernagel of Story City, IA; siblings Sandy (Roger) Hansaker of Radcliffe, IA; Karen (Mark) Broderick of Adel, IA; Kirk (Debbie) Tjernagel of Plainfield, Il; Laura Fine and John Baluka of Ballwin, MO; 6 nephews and 2 nieces; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services will be Friday, April 9, 11:00 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #23 and VFW Post #2635 of Auburn. Visitation, no viewing, will be at the funeral home Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 5:00 to 7:00.
