Gaylord ?Swede? Anderson, age 73 of Auburn (formerly of Hubbell, NE and Mount Ayr, IA), died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the Nemaha County Good Samaritan Center in Auburn. He was born November 12, 1933 in Burr Oak, KS.
Survivors include his daughters Mary and husband James Bates of Sterling, VA; Donna Krause and friend Ken Miles of Auburn; Gayle and husband Eddie Cervantes of Kearney, NE; Lynne and husband Ala Mohammad of St. Charles, IL; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law Delmar and Pam Anderson; Donald and Melody Anderson; Gerald and Bev Anderson; sisters and brother-in-law Norena Freeberg; Sharon and Mike McCartney; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Monday, August 27, 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Auburn. Burial of ashes will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Hubbell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The body was cremated, and no viewing or visitation is planned.
