Harry O. Carnes, age 95 of Auburn, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Tabitha Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln. He was born February 27, 1913 near Greenwood, NE.
Survivors include his sons and their spouses Gerald and Janet Carnes of Lincoln; Ronald and Patricia Carnes of Wayne; Kenneth and Dorothy Carnes of Lincoln; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 22, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran (Hickory Grove) Church near Auburn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
Memorials suggested to Hickory Grove Church or Tabitha Rehabilitation Center.
