Helen M. Linn

Helen Marie Linn, age 93 of Auburn (formerly of Brock), passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn. She was born October 31, 1921 on a farm in Johnson County, Nebraska to Charles and Maude (Marshall) Sears.

Helen was married to Raymond Green of Brock until his death in 1970. She was later united in marriage to Leslie Linn of Auburn.

Helen was an excellent cook and homemaker. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and aunt. Family was very important to Helen, she loved each and every one in a very special way.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen Jennings of Lincoln; step-son Howard Bowland and wife Karen of Lincoln; five grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren; seven step-great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Raymond and Leslie, infant daughter Vicki JoAnne, daughter Donna Raye, six brothers and four sisters.

A funeral service will be Sunday, February 15, 2:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. A private interment will be at a later date. Helen requested no flowers. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
