Ivan W. Comer, age 93 of Auburn (formerly of Johnson), passed away Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Nemaha County Good Samaritan Center in Auburn. He was born February 11, 1914 on a farm northeast of Johnson, and was a longtime farmer in Nemaha County.
Survivors include his nephews and nieces Dwayne and wife Betty Kistner of Dawson; Eldon and wife Sonia Kistner of Auburn; Ann and husband Marvin Weber of Firth; Alvin and wife Sharon Comer, Jr. of Falls City; Maude and husband Stan Suedmeier of Rulo; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 18, 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Johnson. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Johnson Wednesday 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Memorials suggested to the Johnson Cemetery, Nemaha County Good Samaritan Center, or the church.
