Johnnie Andrew Allgood, age 85 of Bellevue (formerly of Peru), passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Eastern Nebraska Veterans? Home in Bellevue.
He was born February 8, 1922 near Peru, and was an Army Veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his children and their spouses Marlene and Bob Balance of Russellville, KY; Marcia and Carroll Reeves of Peru; Richard and Carolyn Allgood of Auburn; Jerry Allgood of Peru; Phillip and Chris Allgood of Peru; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister Edna and husband Kenneth Wheeldon of No. Highlands, CA; step-children Steve Cummings, Kathy White, and Doris Born and their families, other relatives and friends.
The body was cremated, and graveside committal services and burial of ashes will be at a later date at High Creek Cemetery at Watson, MO, with Military Honors provided by VFW Post #7299 of Peru. No viewing or visitation is planned.
