Marceille "Marcy" Badberg

Marceille Yvonne (Bergmann) Badberg was born August 21, 1930, at Johnson, Nebraska to Edward and Matilda (Nolte) Bergmann.
On June 1, 1950, Marcy was united in marriage to Lester Badberg at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church south of Johnson. The couple would be blessed with four children: Rodney, Debra, John, and Edward.
Marcy spent her last morning enjoying her “eclipse” birthday with her children. She passed quickly as was her prayer.
Survivors include her children Rodney and wife Debra Badberg of Lincoln, Debra Grear of Omaha, John “Jeb” Badberg of Lincoln, Edward Badberg of Tecumseh; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters Mildred Kruger, Marvel Bergmann; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Martin Luther Lutheran Church near Johnson, officiated by Rev. Ken Tubbesing. Joan Bohling was organist for congregational hymns. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date in St. Paul Cemetery at Talmage.
In lieu of memorials the family asks for the public to perform random acts of kindness in their community.
