Mildred Groff, age 90 of Auburn (formerly of Peru), passed away Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn. She was born August 8, 1917 in Peru, Nebraska.
Survivors include her children Barbara and husband Ron Brock of Lake WaConDa; Connie Bridgewater of Auburn; Richard and wife Virginia Groff of Stover, MO; Phyllis and husband Clinton Reeves of Stella; Cheryl Krafka of Lake WaConDa; Rodney and wife Peggy Groff of Auburn; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters Lucille Schaefer of Auburn; Betty Tankersley of Toledo, OH; brother Frank Able of Rochester, MN; sister-in-law Betty Able of Auburn; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 10, 11:00 a.m. at the Bethel Community Church east of Auburn. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Peru. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
Memorials in lieu of flowers suggested to family choice.
