Opal Darlene Jurgensmeier, age 85 of Auburn, passed away Sunday, May 27 at St. Elizabeth?s Regional Medical Center in Lincoln. She was born on the family farm southwest of Auburn January 7, 1922.
Survivors include her sisters Irene Beethe of Steinauer; Lola and husband Leland Heidemann of Tecumseh; brothers LaVerne Caspers of Tecumseh; Marvin and wife Blanche Caspers of Auburn; Eugene and wife Elsie Caspers of Beatrice; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 31, 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Auburn Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
Memorials in lieu of flowers suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
