Winifred ?Faye? Herold, age 94 of Auburn, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. She was born June 17, 1913 in Wichita, KS.
Survivors include her children Gloria Beverly Helms and husband Terry of Cook; Darla Stukenholtz and husband Louis of Peru; Romelle Copenhaver and husband Ronald of Plattsmouth; Sunda Doiel of Auburn; Carter Herold and wife Dorothy of Nebraska City; Courtney Herold of Nebraska City; Gayle Watton of Auburn; Mike Herold and girlfriend Paula Mullins of Rock Port, MO; 29 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 8, 2:00 p.m. at the Hemmingsen Funeral Home Chapel in Auburn. Burial will follow in Sheridan West Cemetery near Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday noon to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 9:00 a.m. until service time.
Memorials are suggested to Good Samaritan Society-Auburn.
