C. Dwayne Kistner, age 80 of Dawson, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln.
Survivors include his wife Betty of Dawson; children and spouses David Kistner of Beatrice; Richard and Diane Boring of Seward; Walt and Terrie Boring of Johnson; Les and Sandy Boring of Humboldt; Susan and Steve Etherington of Albuquerque, NM; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren (and one on the way); brother and sister-in-law Eldon and Sonia Kistner of Auburn; brothers- and sisters-in-law Gerald and Shirley Bucher of AZ; Marilyn DeJonge of Humboldt; Gary and Lauralee Bucher of Auburn; Sherryn and Ron Rist of Humboldt; former wife Phyllis Humphrey of Pilot Rock, OR; other relatives and friends.
A graveside memorial service and burial of ashes will be Wednesday, January 6, 2:00 p.m. at Prospect (Mound) Cemetery near Humboldt. No visitation is planned.
Memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation.
