Cynthia "Cindy" Henrichs

Cynthia Ann (Stitzel) Henrichs, daughter of John and Mabel (Sorg) Stitzel, was born December 24, 1953 in Reading, Pennsylvania. When Cindy was about 5 years old, her family moved to California, where she received her formal education. She graduated from Duarte High School in 1971.
On February 12, 1972, Cindy was married to Dennis Henrichs in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1977 they moved to Auburn, Nebraska, and were blessed with two children, Lisa and Dennis, Jr.
Cindy’s grandchildren were the light of her life. Gamy C loved to be with her grandkids and watch them grow.
In early January of 2017, Cindy suffered a ruptured aneurysm and was hospitalized in Lincoln, Nebraska. After a little over a month in the hospital, Cindy was transferred to Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. She passed away there on Friday, February 10, 2017, at the age of 63 years, 1 month, and 17 days. Her parents, brother George, and sister Mary preceded her in death.
Cindy is survived by her husband Dennis; daughter Lisa Henrichs and partner David Boyer of Lincoln; Denny Henrichs, Jr. and partner Vicki Jewell of Lakewood, CO; grandchildren Chloe and Haley Boyer; brothers John and Ed Stitzel of El Monte, CA; other relatives and many friends.
As per her wishes, Cindy’s body was cremated, and private graveside services and burial of ashes will be at a later date. Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to Auburn Rescue Squad or American Legion Post #23 of Auburn.
