Deane Reid, age 84 of Auburn, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the Nemaha County Good Samaritan Center in Auburn. He was born July 9, 1922 at Swanton, NE, and was a WWII Veteran.
Survivors include his wife Betty of Auburn; children Kathy and husband Harold Fass of Auburn; Scott and wife Ronda Reid of Auburn; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services will be Saturday, June 30, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #23 and VFW Post #3767 of Auburn. Inurnment of ashes will be at a later dated in Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. No visitation is planned.
Memorials suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
