Edna A. Spear, age 96 of Auburn (formerly Scribner), passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. She was born June 2, 1912 near Dodge, Nebraska.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Jane Spear of Auburn; grandchildren Jennifer (Keith) Long of Matthews, NC; Tim (Suzanne) Spear of Olathe, KS; Christopher (Michelle) Spear of Brussels, Belgium; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial services will be Saturday, January 10, 10:30 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Private family inurnment of ashes will be at the Scribner Cemetery in Scribner. No visitation is planned.
Memorials are suggested to the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn or the Spear Memorial Field Maintenance Fund in Scribner.
