April 14, 1928 — April 12, 2014

Henry Lee Rohrs, one of three sons of Rudolph and Irene Lucille (Behrends) Rohrs, was born April 14, 1928, west of Rohrs Station. Henry was baptized April 23, 1928 by Pastor Harder at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Johnson and was confirmed April 18, 1943 by Rev Henkel at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn, where he was a member the rest of his life. He attended country school and graduated from Auburn High School in 1947.

After graduation, Henry carried mail several years for the Auburn Post Office. On November 30, 1950, Henry enlisted in the United States Army. Henry served in Korea, before being honorably discharged on August 24, 1952.
