After Melvin’s passing on October 12, 1998 Louise continued to live at their home in Johnson for many years. She later moved to Long’s Creek Village Assisted Living in Auburn, where she enjoyed the camaraderie of other residents. In December 2018 Louise became a resident of Good Samaritan Society-Auburn.
