Wm. Freuhling. Mavis was confirmed at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Johnson, Nebraska on August 14, 1938, by Rev. E. C. Hansen. Mavis was a member of Martin Luther Church until 1951 when Jim and Mavis transferred to St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Johnson, Nebraska.
