Mildred Irene Hauder, one of 7 children of Samuel and Katherine Hauder, was born March 3, 1920 in Goehner, Nebraska.
On April 2, 1949, Mildred was united in marriage to Robert John Dahlke in Lincoln, Nebraska. The couple was blessed with one daughter, Susan.
Mildred worked at Triangle Pacific Industries in Auburn for many years, but the job she enjoyed the most and was best at was being a housewife and mother. Mildred was a member of the Auburn Christian Church. She also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed embroidering, and loved tending to her flower garden.
On Saturday, July 23, 2011, Mildred passed away at the Montclair Nursing Center in Omaha having reached the age of 91 years, 4 months, and 20 days. In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her husband Bob, a sister, and four brothers.
Mildred is survived by her daughter Susan and husband Richard Robinson of Omaha; granddaughter Melissa Robinson of Omaha; brother Jay Hauder of Sacramento, CA; brother-in-law Bill Dahlke and wife Helen of Auburn; sister-in-law Norma Dahlke of Auburn; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
