Otto Jon Volker

Otto Jon Volker, the youngest of four children of Jacob and Neshay (Nichols) Volker, was born January 17, 2021 at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln, Nebraska. After entering this world sooner than expected, Otto, along with Mom and Dad, continued his stay in the hospital.

After ten days of loving and being loved by his family as well as those responsible for his care, little Otto went to be with Jesus in Heaven on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

Otto is missed lovingly by his parents Jacob and Neshay; sisters Addison, Harper, and Lennon; grandparents Brad and Janice Volker of Auburn, Tim and Shelly Nichols of Auburn; great-grandparents Helen Volker of Auburn, Cecilia and Clint Antholz of Elk Creek, Jon and Joan Allen of Effingham, KS; uncles and aunts Zachary and Elizabeth Volker and their children Elliott and Emersyn, Dylan Volker, Wyatt Volker, Nathan Palmer, Mattie Nichols, Olivia Nichols; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow in St. James (Long Branch) Lutheran Cemetery near Humboldt. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 5:00 to 7:00.
