Ann Marie Jones, beloved daughter of James and Agnes (Hauber) Jones, was born on July 11, 1966, in Auburn, Nebraska. She was one of eight children and cherished her upbringing in a close-knit family. Ann was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Auburn, and she maintained a strong connection to her church throughout her life.
Ann graduated from Auburn High School in 1985 and soon moved to Kansas City to pursue work opportunities. However, following a decline in her parents' health, she made the selfless decision to return to the family farm south of Auburn to care for them. They then moved into Auburn where Ann continued to care for them until their passing. Her commitment to helping others extended beyond her family; she actively contributed to her community by providing transportation assistance and lending a helping hand to those in need.
Throughout her life, Ann remained deeply involved with St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she particularly enjoyed leading the Rosary, demonstrating her dedication to her faith and community.
After facing her own health challenges, Ann was admitted to CHI Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, where she passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the age of 59 years, 3 months, and 18 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Danny.
