Arnold Gadeken

Arnold R. Gadeken, age 90 of Syracuse (formerly Talmage), passed away Sunday, January 04, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Society-Syracuse. He was born June 29, 1918 near Brock, NE.



Survivors include his wife Norma of Syracuse; sons Ray (Debbie) Gadeken of Honey Creek, IA; Don (Joann) Gadeken of Cook; daughter Janis (Neil) Harris of Lincoln; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.



Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 7, 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Talmage. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery near Talmage, with graveside military honors by American Legion Post #246 of Talmage. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Auburn Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and at the church in Talmage 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., when family will greet friends.
