Bess Griffiths, age 95 of Auburn, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. She was born December 7, 1914 in Burwell, NE.
Survivors include her son John Dwight, Jr. and wife Judy of Omaha; daughters Mary Ann Sachan and husband Richard of Joplin, MO, Christine Griffiths-Cole of Beatrice; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 28, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Auburn. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery near Auburn. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Family will greet friends from 5:30 to 7:00 with Rosary being recited at 7.
Memorials suggested to Auburn Rescue Squad, Neighbor to Neighbor or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
