Concepcion Argame Alarcon was born in Amaya, Tanza, Cavite, Philippines on May 5, 1934 to Guillermo Claros Argame and Eustaquia Tacos Argame. She is the 2nd eldest of seven sisters.
Sioning had to sacrifice school at a young age to work selling fruits in the market to help her family. She met the love of her life who was also her childhood playmate growing together as neighbors. She has always been pragmatic when it comes to making decisions. As a child, she and her husband survived WWII and Japanese internment camps. She stayed in the Philippines while her husband was in the Navy. They enjoyed hosting large feasts and having hundreds of family gather at their home in Cavite City.
The couple moved to Saint Marys, GA in the late 90s. Due to deteriorating health, they moved to San Diego and Auburn for a couple of years. After her husband passed away, she moved to San Francisco for six years to live with her niece, then finally returning to Auburn, NE where she peacefully passed away listening to her favorite song.
Sioning loved wearing flowery patterns and watching her Tele-seryes. She was dedicated and zealous volunteering in various Catholic church groups and school PTA in her younger years. She is kind and giving to those that needed help. She is always supportive of her kids showing up at school functions and recitals. Sioning was thankful to have seen her sisters in her last days. At times, she can be sassy but genuine, speaking her mind. Most of all, she worked hard as a mother and grandmother to make sure that all of her progeny have a better life than hers.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Rody; parents, Emong and Taquia; two sisters, Leoncia Cesa, Rosario Layosa, and a brother Hermogenes Argame.
Sioning is survived by her sisters in the Philippines, Lucila Antonio, Catalina Mundo, Rosa Lamano, and Aurora Nanit; Children, Tony Alarcon (Alex Evans) of Auburn, NE; Ghee Delosreyes (Jhune) of San Diego, CA; Adel Alarcon (Cherry) of Jacksonville, FL; Grandchildren, Alianna, Angel, Jadeene, Jemayne(Tomi Rose), Janel (John Darryl), Maria Crisselyn (Adam), Justin (Lyn Asley), and Aldrin (Lindsey); Great-grandchildren, baby Arielle, Rinoah, Dyesebelle, AJ, Mavis, and Avery.
