Beatrice

Connie Kathleen Alexander, one of eight children of Norman Eugene and Bonna Jean (Marchand) Alexander, was born September 24, 1956, in Humboldt, Nebraska. She passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Mosaic Aspen House in Beatrice, Nebraska.

Connie was raised in Shubert, Nebraska, where she was struck by a disabling disease as a young child. She remained in her parents’ home under their loving care until her mother passed away in 2000. In December of 2000 she moved to the Mosaic Home in Beatrice, Nebraska, where she remained until her passing.

“Daddy’s Lady”, as Connie loved to be known by, enjoyed taking rides through Indian Cave State Park near Shubert. She was a fan of rock and roll music, especially when it was played really loud!

Connie is lovingly remembered by her siblings Gary (Alice) Alexander of Auburn, Nancy Stokes of Falls City, Glenn (Angelia) Alexander of Humboldt, Landon (Jan) Alexander of Shubert; brother-in-law Jerome (Roseanne) Macklin of Redfield, IA; many nieces and nephews; and her Mosaic family.

In addition to her parents, she is pre-deceased by her sisters Twila Hochstein and Joyce Macklin, brother Wayne Alexander, brother-in-law Delynn Stokes, and nephews Timothy Macklin and Jeff Geisman.

A memorial service will be Monday, April 27, 2:00 p.m., at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial of ashes will follow in the Nemaha Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
