Duane King, age 71 of Auburn, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln.

He is survived by his wife Kathie; children Jarod (Kyisha) King, Dana Gerdes, Melissa (Donald) Baker, and Springer Hendricks; 16 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter; sisters Linda Carder and Wanda King; brother John (Susan) King; cousins Robin Sudman, Jim (Shirley) Robbins, and Joe Robbins; other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service for Duane will be Friday, June 26, 1:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial of ashes will follow in the Nemaha Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the family for later designation.
