Edwin W. ?Skeet? Myers, age 78 of Auburn, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his children Lahala (Bob) Phelps of Bonney Lake, WA; Tom (Karen) Myers of Eden Prairie, MN; David Myers of Auburn; Edwin A. (Sun) Myers of Auburn; Michael (Deb) Myers of Lincoln; Susan (Troy) Donnelly of Auburn; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters Pauline Ballue of Brownville; Colleen Hiatt of Bethany, MO; sisters-in-law Erma Myers of Brownville; Sherry Warrick of Omaha; Kay (Paul) Fish of Brownville; Lou (John) Solie of Stillwater, OK; brother-in-law Martin (Allison) Hayes of Brownville; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 4, 10:00 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Brownville. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Auburn Rescue Squad.
