Elly Ingersoll, age 97 of Auburn, passed away Thursday, November 04, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. He was born September 26, 1913 in Syracuse.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Joe and Rita Ingersoll of Auburn; granddaughter Stacy and husband Brett Matteen of Auburn; great-grandchildren James and Ella Matteen; special friend Norma Apple of Auburn; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Monday, November 8, 2:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Inurnment of ashes will follow in Sheridan Cemetery near Auburn, with graveside military honors provided by American Legion Post #23 of Auburn and the Nebraska National Guard Honor Guard. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday noon to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 2:00 to 3:00.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to family choice.
