Esther Russell, age 85 of Auburn (formerly Peru), passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn.
Survivors include her husband Lester of Auburn; daughter and son-in-law Martha and Ron Brestel of Marshalltown, IA; sisters Twila and husband Alan Stiers of Cedar Rapids, IA; Donna Wheeler of Tacna, AZ; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Friday, December 9, 11:00 a.m. at the Auburn Christian Church. Inurnment of ashes will be at the Nemaha Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 7:30. There will be no viewing.
