Everna Grooms

Everna Grooms, age 88 of Nemaha, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Survivors include her children Susan Koso, Sheryl (Jerry) Bebb, Sonya (John) Williamson, and Steve (Lindsay) Grooms; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Nancy White; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 20, 10:30 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow in the Nemaha Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.

Memorials are suggested to the Nemaha Rescue Squad or the Nemaha Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Hemmingsen Funeral Home of Auburn.
