Gary Eldon Schlange

Gary Eldon Schlange, age 83 of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at CHI Heart Hospital in Lincoln.

Survivors include his wife Mary of Auburn; son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Teresa of Auburn; daughter and son-in-law Kim and Terry Hahn of Johnson; grandchildren Abriel Schlange of Lenexa, KS, Alyson (Brendan) Steele of Falls City, Allan Schlange (fiancé Jenna Burger) of Auburn, Kacie (Ted) Gyhra of Pawnee City, Ty (Marriah) Hahn of Hooper, Jadyn Hahn of Johnson; great-grandchildren Huxton Steele + baby Steele on the way, Elizabeth and Jackson Burger, Owen and Theo Gyhra; sister Marilyn Larson of Tallahassee, FL; nephew Thad (Suhail) Larson of Tallahassee, FL; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery at Auburn.
