John R. Severs, Sr., age 86 of Auburn, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society-Auburn.

Survivors include his children and spouses John, Jr. and Linda Severs of Rochester, MN, Danette Severs of Omaha, Vaughn and Kim Severs of Auburn; grandchildren Tristan Severs, Emily (Michael) McCarthy, Natalie Severs (Gregory), Dr. Tori Severs (Joel), Patti Severs, Alex Severs, and Cassie Severs (significant other Charlie); great-grandchildren Seraphim, Rhett, Colt, Ryott, and Barrett; sister Linda Grey; and brother Gerald (Cindy) Severs.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, March 25, 2:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow in London Cemetery near Auburn. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.

Memorials are suggested to Auburn Rescue Squad or Auburn Volunteer Fire Department.
