June 24, 1940 — July 5, 2022

Linda Lee Stiers, one of three children of Kenneth and Doris (Duerfeldt) Stiers, was born June 24, 1940, at Rulo, Nebraska. When she was just a young girl, Linda and her family moved to Nemaha, Nebraska.

In her spare time, Linda enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was an avid reader, often reading an entire book in just one day. Linda and Buck also loved taking care of the neighborhood cats, cleaning them up, feeding them, and giving them a home.

After a decline in health, Linda moved to the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. It is there that she passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, just 11 days after her 82nd birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Buck, brother Lawrence Stiers, and sister Elizabeth Finn.
