Obituary
Margaret “Susan” Oliver, age 79 of Auburn, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at her home.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Brandon Halama of Auburn; son and daughter-in-law Harold and Chris Silvey of Auburn; grandchildren Alicia (Mikael) Halvardsson, Zachary Halama, Kayla (Andrew) Schulte, Hanna (Tom) Danner, Kendra (Devin) Beller; great-grandchildren Aiden Halvardsson, Jackson, Parker, and Emmett Schulte, Nolan Danner, Brecken and Blayden Beller; brothers Michael Hempen of Oregon, Lawrence Hempen of California; other relatives and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 9, 2026, 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Auburn, with Rosary being recited at 1:00 p.m. Burial of ashes will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery at Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 5:00 to 7:00.
Memorials are suggested to family choice for later designation.
