Nathan Gene Becker was born June 21, 1972 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Bernard and Jean (Thomas) Becker, the youngest of three sons. He passed away December 9th, 2020 in Auburn, Nebraska at 48 years, 5 months, 18 days. Nathan was baptized June 21, 1972 at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital, Fairbury, Nebraska prior to transfer to Saint Elizabeth, Neo-Natal unit in Lincoln, Nebraska. Nate was confirmed on June 7, 1987 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Crete, Nebraska. Nate’s confirmation verse was Mathew 21:22. Nate attended school in Fairbury, Nebraska and graduated in 1991 from Crete High School in Crete, Nebraska.

Nate worked for Lincoln Laminating, Rivers Metals and owned a welding shop in Panama, NE. He was a skilled laborer and had many opportunities to learn and work for numerous employers including Carroll Coolers in Carroll, IA and Chief Industries in Grand Island, NE. He installed insulation while studying for his CDL in Arizona. He and his camper traveled and worked all over the USA.

Nathan was preceded in death by his father Bernard, two uncles, and two aunts.

Nathan is survived by his mother Jean Becker and stepfather James Lamb of Surprise, Arizona; brother Brian and wife Denise Becker of Knoxville, IA; brother Timothy and wife Angela Becker of Auburn, NE; six nieces and nephews, Dillon, Mikayla, Zachary, Amelia, Kyra, and Kyle Becker; two uncles and three aunts, Bryon and Lisa Becker, Stan and Rosemary Thomas, and Verla Thomas, cousins, and a host of friends.

A private family graveside service will be in Pleasant Dale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Auburn Trinity Lutheran Church or Multiple Sclerosis.
