Norma M. Gadeken, age 85 of Syracuse (formerly Talmage), passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Society-Syracuse. She was born April 13, 1923 near Talmage.
Survivors include her children Ray and wife Debbie Gadeken of Honey Creek, IA; Don and wife Joann Gadeken of Cook; Janis and husband Neil Harris of Lincoln; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 2, 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Talmage. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery near Talmage. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday noon to 5:00 p.m. and at the church in Talmage Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., when family will greet friends.
Memorials are suggested to family choice.
