Pearle Irene Gerdes

Pearle Irene Gerdes, age 99 of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at her home.

She is survived by her children and their spouses Barbara and Roy Fife of Overland Park, KS, James and Joyce Gerdes of rural Auburn, Vernon and Carin Gerdes of Sanford, FL, Patricia Fiorese of Auburn; Grandchildren and spouses Jason and Rose Fife of New Prague, MN, Brian and Chala Fife of Lawrence, KS, Julie Gerdes and Jon Plugge of Lincoln, NE, Jay and Brooke Gerdes of Auburn, Jonathan and Cory Gerdes of Auburn, Jeffry and Dawn Gerdes of Mint Hill, NC, Christa and Juan Hernandez of Westfield, IN, Michael and Chelsea Fiorese of Fairfax, VA, Jeremy and Jana Gerdes of Humboldt, Chris and Dana Gerdes of Johnson, Philip and Crystal Gerdes of Auburn, Michelle and Doug Hoff of Johnson, Nathaniel and Alecia Gerdes of Johnson, Randall and Kelley Gerdes of Johnson; 43 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; Brother-in-law, Harlan Bohling of Auburn and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be Monday, December 12, 2022, 10:30a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran (Hickory Grove) near Auburn. Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran (Stone) Church Cemetery near Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 3:00 to 5:00.

Memorials are suggested to AseraCare Hospice, Carol Joy Holling Camp, or Orphan Grain Train.
