Vern H. Bohling, age 86 of Auburn (formerly of Lincoln), passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. He was born December 10, 1922 in Auburn.
Survivors include his wife Carol of Lincoln; daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Larry Beldin of Omaha; sons and daughters-in-law Gale and Holly Bohling of Phoenix, AZ; John and Tonja Bohling of Lincoln; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law Vera and Richard Plager of Elk Creek; Wilma and Mervin Geyer of Humboldt; Marlene and Eiber Alberts of Auburn; brother-in-law Everett Boeck of Gaylord, KS; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, December 17, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran (Hickory Grove) Church near Auburn. Inurnment of ashes will follow in the church cemetery. No visitation is planned.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran (Hickory Grove) Church.
